Is It Time for Your Powerful Contribution?

I’m so excited about contribution right now. In a few months, I will finally be finished writing my second book, Strong from Within! I just completed mentoring a client to coach his clients more deeply. I’m also supporting two clients right now in employing more people locally.

More people living strong from within. More people receiving deeper coaching so they can make their contributions. More people doing work they love right in their own communities. I feel deeply honored to facilitate these contributions.

What about you? What do you know is your powerful contribution? Or next powerful contribution?

  • Would you love support in getting your book written?
  • Do you have a gift to give your community?
  • Might I help you coach more deeply?
  • Are you soul-searching to discern your next contribution?
  • How could coaching support you in making your powerful contribution?

With so many aspects of life seeming unstable right now, the world needs your specific gifts, your irreplaceable contribution.

Is It Time for Your Powerful Contribution?

If you’d like to talk with me about coaching you, let’s use the wonderful energy of the new season to plant your seeds and bring your contribution to reality!

Our coaching conversation would be my gift to you. If we both sense it would be a good fit, we can talk about how we could work together.

If we’re not a good fit, that’s okay too. At the very least, we’ll have had a great conversation about your important contribution!

I begin work with only 2 or 3 new clients each season. If you sense one of them might be you, schedule your coaching conversation and apply here.

To making the world a better place, one powerful contribution at a time!

Strong You, Strong Work

In the past few weeks, I’ve needed more support than usual from my own coach. And, most of my clients have needed more support from me. One day last week, I received two frantic emails in one day. The subject line of one of them was: Help!

In the 20 years I’ve been coaching, I’d never received a “Help!” email before that. I’ve been wondering what’s in the air.

And then I realized what might be more productive: let you know a bit about how I can help.

This Will Make You Get Your Business Back on Track Now

If you don’t get your business running smoothly, which is worse, you not making the unique contribution you are here to make or your potential clients not getting the value of your unique contribution? Who wants to have to answer that question?!?

So here’s the thing.

When you can articulate with crystal clarity WHY you do what you do, your WHY will push, pull and drag you to resolve whatever’s in the way of your thriving business.

My WHY:
Inspiring and urging us to freedom
from our innocently self-created prisons
so that we may be more fully ourselves
and make our unique contributions to the planet.

Many of our self-created prisons were innocently created at a time of unresolved loss. Sometime when we were super young and felt abandoned, unloved or worthless. Other times, later in life around a break-up or a death.

If you’ve experienced a recent break-up, death or loss, that certainly doesn’t mean it’s unresolved. You’re grieving and have the opportunity even in the grief to find the good.

So what about you? Do you know, absolutely know, your business can be more, serve more?

If so, I’d love to offer you a Business Back on Track breakthrough session. There’s no charge for this session ~ it’s my gift. Click here now to book and apply.

We’ll get on the phone for 45 – 60 minutes and specifically look at where you are now and where you’d like to be.

If I feel you might be a great candidate for my brand new 10-week Business Back on Track by Receiving the Gift of Loss program, we can talk about that at the end of your session.

This Will Make You Get Your Business Back on Track Now

Because it isn’t for everyone.

I help business owners who:

  • Do extraordinary work, providing a needed service.
  • Approach life and work in a light, playful, open and deep way, even through broken-heartedness.
  • Are decisive and committed to their own transformation and making the greatest contribution of their business, while using updated technology like eGoldFax providing e-faxing services for their enterprise.

If you believe it’s possible to find the genuine gifts in challenge and/or loss and allow them to transform you and your business, then book and apply to be considered for one of the Business Back on Track breakthrough session.

A Strong from Within Interview

I was interviewed a couple of weeks ago by Irma Vargas for the Be Your Own Leader Summit.

I talked about:

  • Aligning our internal StrengthsFinder strengths team by paying attention to our strengths within us.
  • Focusing on consistently being and living our core values.
  • Committing to daily practices that nourish our body, mind, heart and spirit.
  • Orienting our life and work around what sparks joy for us.
  • Living from the inside out strengthens us. When we live from the knowing that we create our world by our thoughts and feelings, we give up the notion that we are victims of external circumstances. We naturally thrive.

Great listen for StrengthsFinder pros, StrengthsFinder newbies and Strong from Within enthusiasts.

Evoking the Best of You: Coaching Inspiration from a Fictional High School Football Coach

“Clear Eyes. Full Hearts. Can’t Lose!”
~ Team Motto, Dillon Panthers from the NBC series,
Friday Night Lights

From: https://www.denverlibrary.org/content/friday-night-lights-best-tv-series-youre-not-watching

I am slowly watching the second to last of 76 Friday Night Lights episodes that aired from October 2006 to February 2011. I can hardly bear the thought of not seeing any more episodes after resisting watching the show for years.

Several of my coaching friends had recommended it over the years, but what did I care about Texas high school football?!?

Well, I was wrong.

As a business and life coach, I love inspiring coaching stories. Business coaching. Life coaching. Business and life coaching. I had no idea that a fictional high school football coach could inspire my coaching.

As it turns out, the show was far more about great coaching and lots of love with Texas and football as the backdrop.

Coach Taylor, played brilliantly by Kyle Chandler, coached those teenagers with a fierce devotion. He believed in them until they believed in themselves. He held them to high standards and offered them compassion when it was needed.

“Clear Eyes. Full Hearts. Can’t Lose!” Not a bad motto for life and for our kind of coaching!

Have you seen the show? I would love your thoughts and experiences. Post comments and insights below . . .

Creator/Owner Mindset: I Can’t Believe I Fell into this Hole

There I was walking my talk. Like a great coach. And then I fell in that same hole – again.

Let me back up to the beginning.

I had been in a low mood for a day and a half. For a couple of weeks before that, I had made several invitations to people I would love to coach. All of them had said “no.”

I then attributed my low mood to “nobody wanting coaching.” That’s the moment I fell in the hole. But I didn’t realize it at the time.

low mood; falling into a hole

My mood got lower and lower. I felt disoriented and couldn’t focus. Talking with my own coach barely helped. That’s when I knew something was way off, but I still had no idea what it was.

I looked for reasons that my mood was going lower and lower. I knew better than that. I knew that the best way to deal with a low mood involves being graceful with myself and allowing it to pass. I knew better than to engage with it.

I knew better than second-guessing why I got a bunch of “no’s.” I know that no means “next.” In this particular time, I had a bit of amnesia – forgetting all that I know from selling my entire life.

Bless my coach. She was not going to leave me in this place. She sent me a snippet of a video that reminded me about my own power in my ability to choose and my ability to believe.

I immediately, beam-me-up-Scotty style, ascended from that hole. I had given away my power to choose and my power to believe. I flew out of the hole when I realized I could choose and believe again with that very breath.

Oh my God, how can I more consistently remember that I write the story of my life? I’m not in charge of when others say “yes” or “no.” I am in charge of remembering that my life is created from what I think about my life, not what happens “out there.”

Thank goodness for this profession of coaching. A sane, firm, persistent and loving voice when in a moment, I’d gone a bit off the rails . . .

What about you? How do you bring yourself back to remembering the truth of who you are when you forget a little bit?

I’d love to hear from you.

Spiritual Awareness: The Power of Our Words

I hired a new business coach in January, Stephen McGhee, because
I was beyond ready to make some major changes in my business and my life.  And, I had gotten willing to do whatever it took to bring my life more into alignment with what I most deeply desired.  I knew he was the guy to help me make that happen, and I have been thrilled to be bringing great things to fruition just a couple of months into our work together.

In fact, for a few days, I had been saying to anyone who would listen, “I am on fire!  Things are going so great.”  I am no longer saying that after waking up one morning with my throat ablaze.  On fire, really.  Oops!

Then I completely lost my voice for a couple of days.  Gave me some inner reflection time, which is when I made the connection between my fiery enthusiasm and my blazing throat.  I also realized that I needed some time to integrate so many good things happening all at once!

My beautiful dance of life continues to amaze me when I’m willing to take full responsibility for creating everything in my life.  I’d like to think that the next time I need a little integration time, I will plan a few quiet days in the New Mexico desert . . .  It probably won’t make as good a story, but it also won’t be quite as painful or debilitating!

Isn’t life cool?!? (Notice my balancing words!)

So what about you?  What have you been creating in your life with the power of your words?

Our “stories” continue to fascinate me . . .

Feel free to post a segment of yours here on the blog . . .

Attracting clients: An empowering process

In my Notes from the Universe, this morning, I read, “Very simply, Ann, the more that you accept responsibility for, the more power you have.”

I had to read it twice. So, I have more power when I accept more responsibility? Yes, that feels true in my body and I had never thought of it like that before!

When I would like more clients, I don’t passively wait for the Universe to deliver. Instead, I take responsibility. I set a clear intention and declare it to the Universe. Then, I clear my head of disempowering thoughts around attracting new clients. Then, I listen for inspired actions to reach out for those incoming clients. Then, I take those actions.

With full responsibility, I keep clearing my head of thoughts that don’t serve my intention and I keep listening for and taking inspired actions until I have attracted as many new clients as I had desired. This whole process might take 20 minutes or a few months.

I realize as I’m pondering the connection between responsibility and power, sometimes I have heard me or one of my clients say, “It’s out of my control. I can’t make someone become a client.”

Of course. True power is not arm-twisting or attempting to impose your will upon another.

Instead, it’s about matching energy. One of the most empowering things I help clients with involves:

  • Setting an intention for what they desire (in this case, attracting more clients).
  • Clearing and continuing to clear disempowering thoughts that don’t support that intention.
  • Listening for inspired actions.
  • Taking inspired actions.
  • Repeating as necessary until the intention has come to fruition.

The easiest way for me to attract those new clients who would like help with this process: be actively engaged in the energy of this process, feel good about it, have fun with it, be in my power with it.

Probably the most clear way to see how this works: look at the opposite. If I think clients should just find me and I resent that they don’t, if I expect someone else to send them to me, if I don’t set an intention, allow my disempowering thoughts to flourish and don’t listen for inspired action . . . what happens? Nothing good, right?

Business coaches, career coaches, life coaches: would you like to attract new clients right now? I would love to support you in that!

Check inside yourself to see if this inspired action fits for you: I’m offering a risk-free, no-cost, high-value coaching consultation for you to experience this! Sign up for yours today . . .
